Motoko & Eshu with Ann Shapiro, Executive Director of the CT Storytelling Center.
What an amazing honor! The CT Storytelling Center gave us the prestigious Barbara Reed Award at their 42nd Annual Storytelling Festival and Conference. Barbara, the founder and artistic director of the Center, initiated the Award in 2000 for distinguished and outstanding service to the Connecticut storytelling community. Eshu and I were literally raised as tellers by our CT family, including its visionary pioneers such as Barbara Reed, J.G. Pinkerton, Peg O’Sullivan, and Kate McClelland. Thank you, CT Storytelling Center, for the hard work you put in for all of us!
